Happy St. Patricks Day!!! This year me and Jason decided since we were Murphy/OToole, it would only make sense for us to be in charge of the St Patricks Day party.fro We invited some friends over a feast of cornbeef and cabbage and other goodies! We had a lot of fun and hopfully it will be something we do for awhile.

My project for this month was re-painting the kitchen and bathroom. It ended up taking a lot more time and money than I had thought! But in the end I loved how it looked! (The Green and Brown are the new colors!)

We ended the month with Jazz tickets that we won in a "random" drawing. They played the Wizards and they still lost :(! Sad game, but Jazz games are always fun! (Go Millsap!) I didn't take any pictures of us or the game (Lame) but I did get a picture of these Cool Cats!

February 2011

Can't believe another month has already come and gone! And this one was so much fun! We started the month off with one of my favorite things! DISNEYLAND!!!!

We went with Jason's family and had SOO much fun! We all had a magical time!!! We even had lunch with the Princess'. BEST DAY EVER!!! Jason's highlight of the trip was when he built his custom made remote control car!!!

The day after we got home my fabulous father in law got us third row tickets to the JAZZ vs. BULLS game!!! Doesn't get better than Paul Milsap and Kyle Korver! (Even though the Jazz lost, dang bums) I also secretly love Boozer! The next day we found out that we had seen the last game Jerry Sloan would coach! Our last big thing this month was Valentines Day! I know this is a totally made up holiday but I LOVE it! Any time I get presents it's a good day! Throw in chocolates and flowers it's an even better day! And Jason out did himself this year! He kicked me out of the house for a few hours and when I arrived home he had cooked dinner for me all by himself! It was delicious! And to top it off I got presents! Flowers (Gerber Daisy's my favorite!) Chocolates and tickets to Ballet West "Sleeping Beauty" It was fantastic!

Jason I love you so much and am thankful that you put up with all my craziness!

January

Happy New Year! One of my New Year's resolution was to update my blog every month. We will see how well I do.

This month has gone by so fast! We rang in the new year with a 3 year tradition by going to Typenyaki with the Fergusons. Than we had Alison's Birthday Party! I can't believe she is 7!

In the middle of the month we played "house" with Cael and Jordan while Sharlie and Raynel took a overnight trip to St. George. It made my realize how much I love those kids but how much I love my sleep!

Jordan is pretty smitten with Jason! I think the feeling is mutual.

Everysince I got married the homemaker in me has kicked into full drive! I have fallen in love baking (although I HATE dishes!) Jason joined in the fun and helped my make cake bites!

One Year Later

Me and Jason celebrated out 1 year anniversary this last month! I can't believe we have been married for a whole year! It has gone by way fast! It still doesn't seem like we are married! I am still waiting for the day my mom finds out that I am living with a boy! Me and Jason have so much fun together and we are constantly making each other laugh! I am so lucky to have him in my life and am so grateful for everything he does for me and everything he puts up with! He is the best! I love you Jason!

I took charge this year for our big YEAR celebration. I told Jason to pay close attention so he would know the standard when it is his turn next year! :) I took the idea from my mom and we had so much fun!

saw a movie and went

had our very first date!

Our next stop was it "Italy" for dinner. (Melting Pot) The dessert was amazing! This is such a fun place and another first for us!

Our last was stop was to the "South Pacific Islands". We had so much fun spending the day together and trying out all kinds of new things! I can't wait to see what Jason plans for next year!

The Corny Murphys

This weekend all 12 of us were finally able to get together for a day of family fun! Missy planned for all of us to go to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. It was so much fun! I hope this is something we do every year! (maybe next year the picture won't turn out blurry!)

Okay I finally caved. After reading everyones cute blogs I decided to do one for me and Jason, it also helps that I know people want to know everything about us and our exciting lives! To get everyone up to date we were married June 26, 2009 and couldn't be happier! We bought a duplex in bountiful and I think it is finally starting to feel like home!
